Sales Always Comes Down to SEX

Why People Buy Stuff:

Sales always comes down to sex whether your target audience are male or female.

People buy stuff because it will increase their sexual appeal.

I always give the example of FERRARI: Why do you buy ferrari ? because it's fast ? NO!

You buy a ferrari because it will signal to other people especially women that you're a high value man which will attract them to you which will in return also attract even more women to you because we all know that when a girl see other girls attracted to a guy she will in her turn become attracted to this guy.

So it's an upward spiral.

The same is true for brands like rolex etc …

It doesn't always have to be about luxury products; I always give the example of NIKE :

They asked Kanye West one time why does nike perform better than adidas when it comes to sales ?
He said because “nobody is getting p#ssy at adidas”.
 
What he meant by that is that if you watch Hollywood movies, when there's a sex scene, look at the bottom of the bed, what do you find there ?

You find a pair of AIR FORCE ONEs

Which means that the guy sleeping with the girl wasn't wearing no adidas or puma shoes … he was wearing air force ones, and what's an AF1 ? it's a a NIKE product.

So by doing variations of this over and over and over and over again in their marketing campaign, what is Nike doing?

Nike is creating a link, a connection inside the unconscious brain of the viewer, connecting : wearing Nike and getting girls.

Because every time you see a person, male or female, wearing Nike, this person is getting sexual attention from the opposite gender.

And the same rule apply to females.

Why do you think females buy makeup?

ANSWER → So other men will find them beautiful.

Same reason they buy fat loss programs.

So once you understand this human psychology:

that every person has a deep down desire, that they might not even be aware of (because as we said it's all in the subconscious, but every human has a deep down desire to be considered as attractive to the opposite gender.

So if you can, in your marketing, play on this desire, but in a subtle way, not in an obvious, and signal to the viewer that if they buy your product or service, it will help them in a way or another become attractive to the opposite gender
