THE ONLY 4 WAYS TO GET LEADS
CHAPTER 2
Chap 2: POSTING FREE CONTENT 1-to-many to a Warm Audience
The goal here is to build an audience in order to get leads.
Building an audience is the most valuable thing I’ve ever done.
Keys to building an audience:
-Provide TOO MUCH VALUE:
By too much I mean give out content that would normally be paid content (like my newsletter), for FREE.
-Post regularly on every platform:
Provide value CONSISTENTLY.
My team and I are currently posting 10 pieces of content across 3 platforms every single day.
-VOLUME:
You only get better by PRACTICING. There’s no magic formula.
If u film 1000 TikToks, you’ll eventually be good at talking in front of the camera and understanding how to catch the viewer’s attention,
if u write 100 eBooks, you’ll eventually become an amazing copywriter
etc…
The content unit: 3 components:
A) the HOOK:
Grab their attention in under 2 seconds and give them a reason to consume your content
1-Pick the right topics: Your topic should be about something either:
. Interesting
. Trendy
. Controversial
. Useful
2- Write the correct Headlines: Your headline should make them stop and want to consume the content.
Pique their curiosity.
You can clickbait them if necessary but don’t do it too often.
3-Use the correct format for each platform.
For example, people on TikTok expect to watch short videos unlike people on YouTube where long form content performs better. On twitter on the other hand, people prefer to READ etc … Repurpose the same piece of content into multiple formats so it fits every platform.
B) RETAIN:
Get them to consume the content by providing value and being interesting.
My favourite driver of retention is curiosity.
To do that you can use:
⁃ Lists: Top 10 books about money, 5 biggest lies about money
⁃ Steps: 3 steps to close any client, how I created an online store 8 steps
⁃ Stories: Master the art of storytelling and creating suspense and curiosity.
C) REWARD:
Satisfy the reason they consumed your content in the first place (the reason/problem u mentioned in the hook)
Rewarding your audience means matching (or exceeding) their expectations when they decided to consume your content.
How to do it?
Provide MORE value than anyone else.
Clearly satisfy the hook u used to get their attention

When to ASK your audience to buy:
My philosophy is: Don’t ask them. Give so much value until THEY ask you.
People are always waiting for u to ask for money and sell them some stuff.
And when u don’t, they trust u more.
So, it’s simple, if u give enough value, people start asking you.
They’ll go to your website, DM you … to ask for more because they understand that you’re legit and not just a guy who’s trying to promote his business online.
My strategy with free content:
That’s why u rarely see me directly promoting my private community on my social media.
Plus, it would make zero sense for me to promote it to total strangers.
WE ONLY ACCEPT WINNERS.
And winners recognize winners.
For example, you reading this, most probably saw me for the first time on social media, followed me, saw that I walk the talk, that I’m legit, that my content is actually valuable, that I’m consistently giving out free gems … so u decided to follow me, to join my newsletter, to check my website … these all are winner traits, why? because a loser would only be interested in QUICK content and useless entertainment.
Then u decided to read this eBook which shows that you’re working on yourself and increasing your business knowledge.
Another trait of a winner.
Still, I don’t want to spam EAZY MONEY LOUNGE,
I believe that the right ones will find us (like you just did). We don’t go out to look for them. They will resonate with our vision and they will Join us when they’re ready.
This can be applied to any business model, even product-based businesses.
Just be creative enough to adapt this strategy to your own business model.
GIVE IN PUBLIC, ASK IN PRIVATE.
“But DON, I need to pay the rent, I NEED TO ASK”:
I feel you, sometimes you can’t afford to "not sell", so here’s what i would do in this situation:
Think of "asks" as a commercial, as an ad on TV.
You interrupt the program with every ask (or CTA, Call to Action) u make.
Here’s the 2 ways I use to weave promotions into content:
1- integrated offers:
Make a CTA within a piece of valuable content. Make sure to keep your give:ask ratio high.
For example: if I make a 10mins long video with three 15 seconds CTAs, I would have made 9min15s of "Giving" and 45 sec of "Asking”, which is good.
But, if I make a 1min video in which I spend 30 secs promoting my biz, that’s a very bad ratio.
Pro tip: Make the CTA right after a valuable moment, they’ll be more willing to take action
2-intermittent offer:
Make many pieces of pure "Gives", then occasionally make an "ask" piece.
Ex: Make 10 "Give" posts, and on the 11th promote your stuff.
REMINDER: In an ASK/CTA, u either advertise your core offer or your lead magnet.
that’s it.
SCALING your content:
1- Depth then Width approach:
Maximize a platform (maximize quality and quantity on this platform until you’ve mastered it), then move onto the next platform.
Pros:
-Once you figure out a platform, u maximize your returns.
Your audience will compound faster, so u take advantage of the compounding effect.
-Fewer resources are required to make this work.
Cons:
-You don’t accomplish the feeling of omnipresence.
-You risk your business being reliant on a single channel.
2- Width then Depth approach:
Get on every platform early, then maximize them together.
Pros:
-You reach a broader audience faster.
-You can repurpose your content (same content, different format for different platforms)
Cons:
-It costs more labour, attention and time to do this well.
